I have my own website and I enjoy it. I control what my customer sees, and I don't give away money on listing fees. Just google around at other websites selling the same thing, and try to make yours prettier. It does take time to learn how to build, and to take good photos, but it's worth it. Also, go to Paypal and read, read, read. 99.9% of internet customers want to use their credit card. Paypal is free but they will take a (very) small percentage of the sale plus a small fee like 30 cents, so build that into your cost.

Go to http://usps.com and order yourself some free boxes. Buy their little scale. Download their software so you can print labels at home using a debit card or credit card. You will schedule a shipment right there on the website, and then you leave your boxes where the mail carrier will find the. I use an inside hallway, and I have a wipe-off board hanging on the door to let the carrier know how many packages are waiting for her inside the door.
