I hate the idea of death, but I also hate the idea of being old and wrinkled and cannot do things like I used to...

I thumbed up Frogme to offset your thumbs down.
I have no idea I am a little worried about living to be that old, even if I do live a pretty healthy lifestyle.

No way I don't expect to see 50 I've done a lot of damage to myself over the years. I just went to the hospital by ambulance the other night cuz i thought i was having a heart attack, but it turned out that my digestive system isn't working right and I have damaged my esophagus because of severe acid reflux.

Probably, women on both sides of my family live a long time--into their late 90's.
There have been a few that died just short of their 100th b-day and a couple that made it to 100-101.
Thankfully, even at that age, they all functioned just fine--memory intact, still cared for themselves, ect.

Wish I could..............but you have noticed the fact that life has become shorter even shorter than the saying life is short.................lifestyles have changed...............foods, hobbies, mentalities, attitudes toward life have totally changed..............death used to come for the oldies because of old age , not of the diseases, or accidents, or misfortunes...........but nowadays, name it and we all have them...things that cause life to shorten..so if God allows me to be alive until 85 then I would really be grateful,,but an 85 who is still useful, can do things independently, and not bother other people,,,,,,,,then Yes...............glad to stay more on earth.......but if become old and useless and I give trouble to people,,then I prfer to leave the earth while with no stories for people to talk and despise who was I when I was alive..............never a nuisance~~~.

Absolutely. People live forever in my family. My grandfather died at 102 and he was a spring chicken at 85!
