How could nearly the entire body of Democratic political opposition be manipulated by someone they described as the dumbest man in America? Surely, if they could be duped by him, they would likely fall for anything a brilliant academic like Zer0bama could conjure. It's already happening. 1.They actually believe we are all paying less taxes and will be paying less in the future as soon as health care kicks-in a year after Zer0bama leaves office. 2. We are still in Iraq after having been told by mister brilliant that we would be out in a matter of months. 3. There is a surge in Afghanistan. 4. There are incursions into Pakistan. 5. North Korea answered overtures with two nuclear detonations and seven missile tests. 6. Iran characterizes Zer0bama as worse than Bush. 7. Gitmo is still open after we were told it would be shut down in a matter of weeks. 8. The borders are still not controlled. 9. There are US troops in the Central African Republic where there were none before. 10. There is no public option or single payer component to the Health Care Bill. 11. 'CHANGE' became 'fundamental transformation'. 12. Unemployment is in double digits. 13. Bail-outs are still going on and now entire countries are included. 14. Somalis are being executed at sea while Islamic terrorists have miranda rights read. 15. The promise of a post-racial society has meant the president characterizing white police officers as stupid and manifested in the form of a beer-summit. 16. The Fed is still being controlled by a Bush selection. 17. The Pentagon is still being controlled by a Bush selection. 18. Instead of changing the way Washington does business, Washington is IN business. 19. Overtures to Chavez have resulted in Russian military bases in Venezuela. 20. There are still troops in Bosnia. 21. There has been an increase in US military assets in South Korea. Yes, the manipulation continues and at an accelerated rate.

When all the negative actions were being reported it was to denounce the President and the republicans for their support of the war and to turn the citizens against Bush and the war.
Now that the tide has turned favorably for victory, the press and tv will not report the turn because of the bias it has against the President and do not want to show any positive actions in Iraq. They continue to keep the American public misinformed of the true progress that our military have come

Saw that on the news here as well, but let me guess, you're blaming the US for those bombings. Perhaps if those idiots over there would stop bombing each other we'd leave quicker. You'd think those terrorists would figure that out, I guess I'm giving them too much credit for intelligence though, after all they are blowing themselves up so I guess they're not that intelligent.

I actually saw this in the US media outlets first. However, I think the US news is now focusing on the economy. Iraq has actually fallen behind on things the US citizen worries about according to recent polls.

Yes, American news media deny the reality of Iraq and a lot of other current events.

They are afraid of a major controversial news story of any kind. They like to keep Americans in the dark as much as possible. Media corporations are participating in the dumbing down of the United States. They are propaganda machines.

The media corporations who are major Bush bu*t kissers sell airtime for profit--it's all about the $$$--and not about journalistic integrity.

The media is what it has always been: the mouthpiece for corporate propaganda. The so-called "fifth estate" is dead for all meaningful purposes.

Since the war in Iraq has turned around, it is no longer a hot item to beat the republicans over the head with. As for the BBC, that explains much. Yeah okay good luck, with that...lol

BBC he said BBC oh my goodness...lmao!!!

Let me ask you, how many people died on American soil from drunk drivers just last year. Want something worth crying over, there you go.

I totally agree. Never did I ever think that the media would actually forfeit ratings and profits (and just plain engaging news stories) in order to spare this administration the bad publicity--amazing!
