I'm surrounded by professionals,(doctors, pastors, teachers), so it's easy to get sage advice as needed. The internet is fabulous for research and settling disputes (Y/A), and the Bible always has last word. To narrow my contacts to one person is too limiting, although I'd love to give my big brother,Jim, the honor. People are much brighter than they might think-don't sell yourself short. Prayer works wonders!

Without a doubt, I believe my husband is the most intelligent person I know.

He is kind, very humorous, concerned, honest, ethical, intelligent and has wisdom and the common sense to benefit from his good qualities.

Our children and grandchildren look up to him and depend on him for advise and help in all aspects of their life.

I respect him, but sometimes I'm just a tinge envious.

He has never stopped learning for 72 years, he the picture of health. Has never had to take a pill other than an occasional antibiotic.

He has good genes as all his family does.

Full Danish.

I truly believe the three most intelligent folks I know are my husband, son, and daughter, and I often ask them either for advice or information. I find that my kids are more current than I, and I appreciate the different perspective they have on issues that is party due to their being from another generation. My parents and siblings are also great sources of knowledge, advice, and understanding for me.

My husband. He has always had a very inquisitive mind. If there is something he wants info on, he looks it up. He won't part with his encyclopedias. He says they are always there and unlike computers, are not affected by power outages. There isn't anything he can't repair, which has saved us a lot of money over the years. He has always been an avid non-fiction reader and if anyone asks something about aviation or war, he knows the answer.

My Boss of 10 years and my ex brother in law are the two most intelligent people I have ever known personally. I have met highly intelligent people in certian fields and appreciate what they have taught me but I don't talk to them. I don't see my boss anymore he retired and moved away but I do see my ex sister and brother in law and we are very close. My boss was very good with many topics and I learned a great deal from him. My ex brother in law is very knowledgeable about raising children and what adult children are like. I also always go to the Lord first, then to people. My son is also very intelligent and I go to him for his opinion on some things but he is only 28 and so still green on a lot of issues but still very intelligent and knowledgeable for his age.

When I have a perplexing decision to make I seek a multitude of counselors. Then decide by combining all my options.

I ask my 94 yr old neighbor, my friend of 40 yrs who has the best answer 90% of the time and my sister-n-law with her intuition. They each contribute in a different way.

I usually don't really ask advice. I do like to vent or bounce ideas off of someone else. There are a lot of people I know who are smarter educationally but I have common sense and I am opinionated. I will seriously listen to advice though. And it sometimes will sway me.

I have several friends who know their own professions and passions better than I do, and I turn to them for advice when I am looking for answers out of my own element. I don't claim to know everything about my own areas, either, and I will not hesitate to ask someone with more expertise than I for help, or look it up if I can't find answers elsewhere. I can't pick anyone who is more intelligent than another, they are all knowledgeable in their fields. I once read that it is not what you know, it is knowing where to find what you need to know.

The most intelligent person I know is a 78-year-old woman who works for me. She is a retired nurse and has such a wide range of interests and experience. I always go to her when I need advice.

Impossible to single out an individual -- there's one heck of a lot of very intelligent people that I know personally and/or can communicate with for advice.
