Absolutely not. In the battle of Gallipoli in WWI, the Ottomans held their own against the British navy, handing them a massive defeat. The Ottomans were definitely a power to be reckoned with.

All empires rise, and then fall. The Ottoman Empire was in steady decline.

It will happen to the American empire eventually.
