I know they already clinched the division, but did the win mean anything besides Farve breaking another record?

The only thing the win did was assure that they get a first round bye with Carolina beating Seattle and their win over the Rams...

They are still alive for home field advantage...but Carolina will have to help them out again...or Washington....but both seem unlikely to help the Packers much.

yes, with that win and the Seattle loss to Carolina, Green Bay has clinched a first round bye in the playoffs. in addition, Dallas lost to Philadelphia, making GB and Dallas the top 2 teams in the NFC. Dallas still has the tie breaker over GB, but homefield advantage is still not determined yet in the NFC. it is all about homefield advantage for Green Bay and Dallas, so they will continue to play tough until they have accomplished that.

Yes. They're now tied for 1st place with the Cowboys and there's a chance they'll get home field advantage over the Cowboys. Playing the playoffs in Lambeau would be sweet. And it's Favre.
