a time machine yet?!!
Wouldn't it be great to go back in time and do things differently so we didn't have any regrets today?

Man cannot make a time machine. Please leave some things to God!

We may have to put away the notion that we can change the past to any extent that would matter EVEN IF a time machine were possible. Scientists have been pondering exactly that idea and have come up with some reasonably scientific explanations for why it probably cannot happen even with actual time travel.

So I guess that we may always be stuck with the old-fashioned way of dealing with past errors: recognize them, learn from them, and try to do better.

On the other hand, there is a kind of time travel available to us today: cryonic preservation! You're dead anyway... but it may be a free ticket into the future. Now that would be an adventure!

If time machine was invented today, I think the machine cost would be tremendously high... costing about a billion dollars... then going back to our past or future would cost us a million dollars. What do you think? I think it is useless to us ordinary people since we don't have that money to go back... If it's for free, then I'll be the first one to risk my live for it.

Because it's to simple to make your own.

You're going to need
some kite string,
some old newspapers.
A wind -up type alarm clock.
1 package of elbow macaroni.
A small bottle of glue
some glitter (Large bottle)
3000 pounds of weapons grade plutonium
A strong wooden chair
an old motor from an electric fan.
An Off/On switch or an old light switch will do.
A metal slinky.
Some cheesecloth.

Next get your mom and dads permission to be gone for a little while.

Email me when you're ready and I'll tell you how to assemble it.

no way!
if someone was to invent a time machine, they could f*ck with history and maybe even make it so someone wasn't ever born.

time machines are a HORRIBLE thing in reality, if you truely think about it.

it IS a nice thought thought, to be able to go back in time and relive your past.
but it wouldnt be like that. you'd impact people
it's called the butterfly effect.

Because it would be abused heavily, like every time you did something wrong/bad, people would go back in time and fix it, and eventually the world would get kinda messed up.

Although I can think of a few......hundred different things I'd like to use a time machine for, heh.

I believe a time machine will never be invented...if it was then wouldn't there be visitors from other times now?

i'd really just want a time machine to see whats going to happen and what people are going to do when the world runs out of oil.... besides you learn from your mistakes, so going back in time to fix something wouldnt really help people get that thru their heads...

No, I wouldn't want to go back. Everything I've been through has made me the person I am today and I wouldn't change who I am now.
