We all have things that have happened that have impacted us in both negative and positive ways. How damaged we become from the negative impacts depends upon our own ability to handle what happened or the help we've received in handling it. If you are one of the lucky ones, you can use the negatives to your advantage and move on in life.

Yep. It's why I could never become a counselor- all the counselors I knew had some trauma in their lives and childhoods- I didn't.

I told my dad he ruined my future career by not beating me enough as a child - he laughed and said it was never too late to start. I told him I was too old now, but thanks for the thought.

So, other than a chronic illness, I'm pretty much undamaged. I just attract pervs and wierdos.

All of us have some damage whether body, mind, soul or spirit the trials are the bedrock or the foundation of my life I dont regret them I embace them I would not be an encourager4God without them.

Some have gone through a lot of damage on this site pray for them. No one is perfect except for God any one who has ever been damaged are not human, e4g

Probably not. But damaged is OK. Damaged can add character, empathy and depth of personality. I'm not saying it's OK that they got hurt, but I'm not going to like someone any less for being damaged.

People who've been hurt are more approachable and 'human' than those who seem to have led the perfect life.

I hope you're feeling OK my friend...

Everyone has a life story. Damage is part of that.... some more damaged than others, I guess. It's those suffering from rescue syndrome I try and avoid. People don't need to be saved from their past... they just need a reason to look for a future.

This question needs a slight adjustment. It should read,"Are there any undamaged people?"
