I've developed an extremely painful perineum lump that's about the size of a dime. I noticed it last week and since then it's grown and become more painful; irritating to sit or walk. I don't think it's a Bartholin Cyst though due to it's location. To be a bit more graphic it's closer towards the anus than the vaginal entrance, and I've noticed a significant increase of vaginal discharge since discovering the lump. I'm just having a difficult time finding any information about perineum lumps and what to expect. I'll be scheduling a doctor's appointment for this week in the morning.

Could still be a cyst as they can occur anywhere down in that area.

I have the link to a site that may have more information to help you with your search. It's at:

Is there a white head, if so it probably is an ingrown hair, or a pain in the a$$ zit, if it is that hard to see, swallow your pride and get your mom or girlfriend to help out with it. If it is something worse go see the doc. better to be safe and a little embarrassed then scrod less in the long run.
