How many codes for mobile phones are there in India and how do you know that this code goes with this number? Specialy for Delhi and Hyderabad.

Dear Friend,
I think if ur aware that all the mobile numbers start with the digit 9 and consists of total 10 digits.
If you are in india and dailing to a mobile holder who is within the state, dial directly 10 digit number. And if outside the state prefix 0 to that 10 digit number. And if ur calling from outside the country, prefix 91. (India Country Code is 91).
And the information provided by Paranola is wrong as it is applicable only for land phones and not mobiles. in case if u want to dail to a land line, then you have to prefix 91 to the area code provided Paranola.
Hyderabad land line code is 040
New Delhi land line code is 011
