I'm wanting to get it published.
I plan on showing it to my english teacher, and getting her opinion.
I'm on the first chapter, and almost finished with it.
I'm hoping I keep it PG-13, so it could be young adult fiction.
If anyone would like to read it, email me.
I need some people's opinions...
People who aren't my friends.

I think it's a good idea to ask your teacher for her imput.
I am writing a book too (have about 200 pages done and am editing ). I'm in my 60's and have had a very unique life which I am putting to paper for my daughter and all my grandchildren. I'm calling it "Memories" and that's just what it is.
One piece of advice I've heard a lot of times:
Write about the things you know most about.
Good luck with your book!

First, you're writing for the proper causes. Because you wish to put in writing. This is continuously the first-class motive and it's going to particularly aid you to hold going with the e-book. Second, simply begin writing and spot the way it is going. If it is helping write a few person references down and perhaps brainstorm a few suggestions or simply write down keywords. Personally I discover it is less difficult simply to suppose up a elementary proposal and a person and simply begin writing, however the extra you write the extra you'll be able to see what works for you. If you battle with the plot simply take a little time out and do different matters. Ideas come first-class whilst you are now not seeking to suppose of them I discover. I'd additionally propose now not proscribing your self to targeted genres. Use them in an effort to get suggestions or as a commonplace goal, however it is the plot that's foremost, now not the style, and you've got extra freedom to put in writing what you desire if you do not prohibit your self. Maybe check out considering matters as though you're the reader. Or perhaps get anybody else to learn by way of it. That approach you understand that matters make experience and you understand whether or not you might have integrated adequate description, that's foremost, in particular if you happen to write delusion and horror. However, write down what you'll be able to first after which return to ensure of this. If you fear an excessive amount of approximately it whilst seeking to get your proposal down it customarily would possibly not drift as good. Just ensure to put in writing matters effectively (textual content talk for a tale does not paintings) and hold writing. You'll obtain your possess kind of writing and discover what works good for you. Reading may be a well solution to aid upgrade your possess writing.

Are you a new writer?

My best advice for new writer's is not to start out with a novel. Start with short stories, just scenes even and build from there.

A new writer starting with a novel is like a new driver being on the freeway the first time they get behind a wheel. With less dying, of course.
