Nice try. Stating a premise doesn't make it so. But there are some factors worth considering. The middle east is widely considered the birthplace of civilization, perhaps even humanity. Societies prosper as they maintain rule of law and respect for human life and rights. The belief in cause and effect, derived from an understanding that God is a God of order, was the enabling foundation of science. Its climate and resources are very well suited to human habitation.

Really not that close. There were early civilizations that made contributions in the area that is now Iraq.

Civilization is mostly about inventing agriculture and animal husbandry. More efficient production of food permitted some people to not do manual labor and become leaders, philosophers, and priests.

The area had a climate that was extremely favorable to agriculture and animal husbandry, and the combination of large populations, fertile soils, and major rivers made them possible.
