Ohh geeze i feel where this guy is coming from. The whole time i bet he was interested in you as more than a friend(not to say that he is only interested in sex or w.e). He probably felt that by showing you how respectful and loyal he is then you would be interested in him for a relationship. You should really take this seriously because your friendship is at risk with him. If you turn him down, most likely he will not want to be friends, but you can not let that be the deciding factor as to whether or not you date him.
I always told myself and my friends that if a girl didn't feel you were good enough as a boy friend, then you aren't good enough as a friend.

Alot depends on how you feel about him. Do you want to keep him as a freind or do you have other feelings for him. either way you should let him know how you feel. Sometimes the truth is the best answer, it might not seam like it at the time but if he is a real friend he will under stand.

That depends on how you feel about him. You must decide if you love him and things will fall in place. If you do love him, for Pete's sake, tell the boy!!! If not tell him as well. Best you get that understood. I am sure that your friendship is going to change somewhat if you don't love him as well. But that's another question Good luck.!!

i kinda had the same peoblem.. but i figured that being friends would be better.. but it really depends on the relationship.. i mean, if you really like him and you feel something towards him, then why not. at least you know each other well enough.. but if not, just tell him that you would rather stay friends, because you would rather have this nice relation ship as it is witout loosing him..

Tell him you love him as a friend. Don't reject him. Who knows one day you might learn to love him and wants him more than just a friend. Love starts from Caring, Sharing and Loving. Good luck.

If you have feelings for him, then I would consider dating him. Otherwise you need to tell him VERY nicely that you are not interested in him that way and you hope that doesn't destroy your friendship. Either way, you need to talk to him ASAP. It's not cool to string people along and you will end up hurting him and ruining your friendship if you do.

If he is your best friend tell him YOU love him dearly as YOUR best friend. NOT as a LOVE interest. Unless you have love love feelings for him. DO you feel like he does?

Is that a nice hahaha, or a mean hahaha?
This person sounds sincere. If you do not like him this way, be GENTLE to them. It will likely be very painful to your friend if you make fun of them or ignore that they said this to you.

Tell him how you feel. Be honest, but if you must let him down, let him down easy...like you said, he's a nice respectful guy.
I mean, he does have good taste, no? :)
