God I hope not. Gil had way better chemistry with Lady Heather than they were ever able to portray with Sara and himself. I also think it is wishful thinking that she will be back in guest episodes considering it was all a fight about money despite the drivel she has been spewing about wanting to do other things. The rest of the stars' contracts are set to expire at the end of THIS season i.e 2008, unlike Jorja Fox's which expired this past May. They had been in negotiations from Jan as to her salary and they never came to any agreement.

I hope not. The whole relationship between Gil and Sara was poorly handled and damaging to the show, and even reduced the screen time of two characters more popular than Sara - Warrick and Greg. Since she has left, the stories have improved (although the latest story was just a rehashing of a Nick story from the episode "Boom"), and Warrick and Greg are now getting the screen time they deserve.
It's become a 'team' show again, which is the way it should be. I really was tired of the 'Sara and Gil Show'... Here's to a brilliant Season Eight! And keep it coming!

According to the head honchos for CSI, we haven't seen the last of Sara Sidle. She may not be back this season, but she will be back.

I hope not. I couldn't stand her from the very beginning. Gill should come back though. He's my favorite character on CSI.

I really hope she comes back, She was my favorite person, she was real, and she did love Grissom.Please lets start a campaign to bring her back!!!
