Good Question, I have read in the bible that Jesus Christ befriend non christian people, even bad people. JJ it is not wierd that you have some friends with different faith, I see it that you are open minded and a good person. Have you read The Master ,A Life of Jesus by John Pollock andLiving Buddha,Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hanh? These are good books it inspired me what is true faith is. Love, kindness, compassion, peace ,tranquility within, forgiveness, happiness within that is my faith now,I am aCatholic, I don't go to Church very much now,I found that God is within me.

Jesus did say to be on guard of the people talking badly about Him.
Just because you go to church and pray doesn't mean you have a relationship with Christ. It also is not a good idea to hang out with people who support doing evil.

I dont think it is a problem you know these people and as long as your not doing the things they are and as long as they are well aware that you have an on growing relationship with Christ.
I still wouldn't recommend hanging out with them.
Jesus hung out with sinners, but sinners who knew they needed Him. Personally myself, I am getting to ware I can't stand sin (even though I do) and am growing to not like being around people who did the things that I used to or do things that I never did or dont do. I believe this is the Holy Spirit within me, making me more aware of the horror of sin and evil. Think about it, One man eating a piece of fruit he wasn't supposed to, brought death into the the world and separation from God. I dont want anything to do with sin man.

I am not questioning your salvation. However, I have been a Christian for a long time and am just now starting to really grow closer to Christ. Its been from me reading the bible. I just started reading it every day for a little over a month now and I can explain the change reading God's word has made in my life.
I recommend reading your bible everyday, even if it is only for 15 minutes. Dig in and really try to learn something new about God and grow closer to Christ.

God Bless man and I'll pray for ya.

I don't like converting any one either but if there relegion is not making them become a better person and making them to be more depressed or just doing wrong to others or animals then I would try to unlighten them to what GOD wants He want us to say yes to him NO to relegion.there is war on relegion, how can that be right I go to church Im not saing im Christian Im an independent spirit I belong to GOD my GOD thats just a ball of good light thats inside of me tring to become the best I can be

Long ago someone once said Judge not that you are not judged. But sometimes people in christian circles forget we all have shotcummings and fall far short of what we should be. I would be proud to have a friend like you!

Its not weird...you're just a very understanding person.

If someone tells you that you aren't a real Christian that falls back on them.

Maybe they should search their hearts and be more accepting.

Hate the sin, not the sinner.

It's fine.

In my opinion, you should not judge your friends for their beliefs, etc.......just be a friend.......
