He was an extremely talented man. Leader of the Band was both a hit and a statement which will describe the man as well.

I just finished doing a search on YA and there are a whole lot of posts about Dan Fogelberg's passing, and I actually read through most of them and the majority, like me, have been very touched by him over the years. I actually posted a message on YA last night around 11:00 after I read about it while I was online. I can't even imagine a world without him and any new music that I'm sure he would have written. Fortunately we will always have the music he did create while he was with us. My younger years are filled with memories of his incredible music. I don't really remember exactly how or where I "discovered" him - I like to think he discovered me. He so touched me. Even though I didn't know him personally, I feel like he knew me because the way he wrote was just the way I thought and felt. His kind of talent is almost non-existent anymore. As far as I'm concerned, he is one of the most gifted and talented artists of my generation. Such a beautiful human being. The world is less now. My heart is hurting.

I didn't realize that Dan Fogelberg passed away. Gee he was 10 years younger than me. Do you know how he died?
My hubby would say, "he stopped breathing." There seems to be an epidemic of gifted people passing away. xo
EDIT: They just announced that he died of prostate cancer. What an awful way to go!!
