You need to read it. Note it mentions due process, as in a trial or hearing. It also mentions just compensation, such as in eminent domain when your house is taken to make room for a road

As with most of the law the answer is "it depends". The 5th Amendment says that you should receive compensation for the "taking" but there are circumstances where the government has the authority to condemn your property and not give you anything for it. For example, if the need an easement through your yard, BINGO, they can draw a line through your yard call it an easement and not have to pay you anything. You can take them to court to try to prevent this, but they have more money and time than you probably do.

they break the constitution and you have the right to take it to court. And if we had a just legal system you would get it back and the organization who took would be found guilty of taking your money. That is exactly what the IRS is doing with the income tax, however we have yet to get a president in office that will uphold the 5th amendment. help elect Ron Paul and get our constitutional rights back!
