Yes, the first suspect would be the seeing eyes. Perhaps something on the door is hanging off and the eyes are picking it up. Also, inspect the cables on the drums (on both sides of the door) that are on the torsion bar. Verify that they have not been compromised along their designed grooves. Unless you have worked on overhead doors before, don't loosen the drums or anything attached to the cables until after you have unwound the spring (or springs). If it is just one spring, just hire a door man to come out. Unless you know what you're doing, you will regret working on it yourself. This is one time when there is no question to the truth of what I'm saying. Don't mess with loaded springs. They are WICKED!

it's binding up in the track, or it's blocking the motion detector . at the bottom of the rails on both sides there are motion beams. make sure nothing is seperating the beams at that motion point .pull the release on the door at the opener and manually lower the door, is there any tension at the 2 ft mark.

Check the electric eyes at the bottom of the door rail. It could be the door lowering is altering the eye alignment, causing the door to think there is an obstruction. I saw this happen once at a door at work.

make sure that u dont have anything in the laser at the bottom of the door. iff there is nothing there u may have a dent in ur rail line. also check the setting of the door opener.

clean off/straighten both sensing lights/they should both be green-they are about an inch off ground on inside right/left of door/then it should close(its sensing something in the way)
