No we sprinkle "reindeer food"....it is a tradition from years ago when a friend sent us a package of oats with sparkles in it and a poem saying the sparkles would reflect the moonlight so Santa could see our house and the oats were for the reindeers to eat. It was really cute when the kids were little to have them sprinkle that outside and the tradition stuck. They are well past the age where they believe in Santa but always enjoy doing that.

Oh yes every year my daughter leaves bread crusts and carrots out for the Reindeers and also cookies and water for Santa. Our Santa is Lactose Intolerant.

I hope you leave some out in case I become a stand in reindeer like Santa asked you know in case one of his reindeer gets sick. I love carrots. Yum. Yum.

Well.. umm... not exactly.. I leave my babies (Santa's babies I mean...) a very large bowl of Margarita.. they love the rim salted.. kinda like a salt-lick of sorts... This brings good cheer to the reindeer and they work much better with a little stress relief... Plus.... I can hear them singing, "Feliz Navidad!!!"... all the way to the neighbors house.. plus, this way they stop at my house first... I used to leave them spiked egg nog but now they're getting picky those little *BLEEPS*.... We have a little "understanding" though... I leave you the good drink, you leave me the goods.. enough said.... Yea, they fly a little crooked and Rudolph's nose isn't quite as bright but they stay happy... and hey... don't let the fat guy in the red suit know about this... just between you and I, OK??? Thanks..

Damn right I am! Santa & his steeds bust thier asses every year to deliver presents to my house. He's always given me good gifts, and to not give his reindeer carrots would make me an ingratious son of a *****.

We generally leave celery too. Santa gets cheese, summer sausage and crackers. We figure he needs a break from the cookies. Cold coke of course to wash it down.
