i have a wirelss router and it works so does that mean i can play ps3 online

If you have a working router and as long as you have the 40GB, 60GB, and 80GB PS3 you connect the PS3 online and you can play online wirelessly.

Yes it does support wireless connections however you have to input settings to tell the PS3 where the connection is from and tell the router to allow the PS3...and when it comes to gaming its better to have a wired connection (it is a steady flow of data and wouldn't be interrupted or altered by an outside data flow) in either case you still have to set up the connection

uhh yes. Real easy to setup.
1. Turn on your ps3
2. go to network settings
3. choose wireless
4. choose your network (netgear, linksys, belkin, etc)
5. Let it connect.
6. have fun and download playstation network demos and trailers!!!

yes, but i would recommend wiring it to your ps3 for a more reliable connection.
