Should i get god of war 1 or 2?

Well im kinda thinking of getting one of these two games.. but im not 100% sure yet. Im also thinking of getting bully for ps2 and maybe Resident evil 4.

But the problem is with god of war is that i dont think my parents will let me buy it cuz its rated M and it has violence etc. So are there any similar games to god of war? or is there a way to convince them?

I think that you should get God of War 1 first and then buy God of War 2 next.

I'm not sure if your parents would let you get it because like you said, it's rated M. In God of War I know that there are various cut scenes with topless women and there is a lot of blood and gore.

There really aren't any other games that I can think of that are like God of War. God of War is just a one of a kind game. Just tell your parents that it's just a video game and that you think that you are mature enough and can handle the content in the game.

Jak and Daxter (rated E)
Jak 2 (rated T)
Jak 3 (rated T)

I love God of War, and I always liked the Maximo games. They're definitely more family-friendly than GOW, and you can pick them up very cheap if you buy them used. The graphics aren't impressive, but it's fun and full of action, hidden treasure and puzzles like GOW.

I'm really surprised that the makers of GOW put some of the content in that they did. The sex scenes and the "human sacrifice" scenes seem really unnecessary (GOW 1 and 2 both have them), and it's going to be that kind of thing that's going to give parents fits.
