To compete, TNA cannot be a cable-TV "tour," they have to get footholds in markets throughout North America with a live product. I just don't think the company has the finances to make a huge leap and I wager a good chunk of the talent would cringe on getting back into tapings plus touring suc days a week. The start would be a better time to air the show, but the industry is in a rut right now and TNA would need a significant cash infusion to make a run against WWE.

Umm.. I don't see the purpose of the McMahon's buying TNA. It provides nothing they don't have already. I mean... is there really some pent up demand for Mike Tenay calling matches on Monday night?
Didn't think so.
TNA has maybe 4 to 6 folks who'd survive on the WWE roster. So they really wouldn't offer much. TNA has no desirable TV slot, poor PPV business, and ties to Jeff Jarrett.
Naw. Never happen. TNA may continue for years, but unless they stop trying to be WWE light and start developing something we haven't seen before, they're going to be a bit player until the die a self inflicted death.

While I like TNA and in a way it reminds me a lot of WCW with some of the wrestlers I highly doubt it will get big enough to compete seriously with Vince and the WWE. I wish it would.

As for WCW: the individuals who owned it did no longer like it. Ted Turner enjoyed WCW and it made him multiple money. yet by multiple company mergers and takeovers Ted Turner ended up no longer being the boss of the organisation that owned WCW. company kinds did no longer prefer to invest in WCW so they offered it to WWE. WWE gained each and every of the WCW skills and then cut up its roster between uncooked and SmackDown. As for ECW, if the vendors might have made money off it they does not have offered it. WWE lower back acquires each and every of the ECW skills. Why might Vince save open a rival to WWE? If WWE buys TNA then TNA will close, and all TNA contracts would be WWE contracts.

TNA has alot of financial problems, they are two hours long and has worse ratings than ecw which is 1 hr. I like TNA, they have great wrestlers. But with the way it is being run, it will be out of business in the bext 3 years. It isnt a threat at all to the WWE, so there is no need for Vince to buy it. When TNA ratings hits the 3's, vince might start worrying and then buy them out, but it will be a long long time before that happens.

Thats what will happen if TNA thinks that it can take the world over tries to invade WWE, then DX will reform and invade them just like they did to WCW

I hope so. It'll really improve pro wrestling since The Monday Night Wars on both franchises, and no buyout by Mr. McMahon...please.
