If your marriage is not working and the laws in your state offer
a divorce option for the problems you are having, it does not
matter if you are pregnant or not---you can get a divorce.
If you do not have enough money, you can look into Legal Aid.
If you are being physically abused, you can seek help through
your Domestic Violence Shelter or perhaps through Social
Services.
If you have none of these agencies in your town, contact a minister or someone you can trust to help you get the help and legal attention you require.
All the best to you and your child,
Doris

It depends on your state laws. In some states the divorce won't be granted till after the baby is born in others it doesn't matter. Check your laws and go from there.

Seriously, it depends upon the state laws and in the bible belt... that would be a point onf contention. You need to get with an attorney. They probably won't grant a divorce until the baby is born whether you prove it is his or not.. Good luck.

You can if the child is not your husband's.
In Texas, you can file for divorce, but it will not be granted until after the baby is born. I don't know about the other states.

Need to check with your state laws...I was divorced in Missouri...and I was asked if I was pregnant....because a divorce wouldn't be granted if I were pregnant...

Yup. But if you are not married at the time the child is born, your husband may not automatically be considered the father of the child. You will have to establish paternity, whether by him agreeing that he is the father, or by a DNA test.

Absolutely. After the baby is born file for child support, and you will have to figure out the whole custody situation.
