Well I've seen X-Men and Fantastic 4 and all those other cool superhero movies but are there really people with the abilities to turn invisible or to fly or even to absorb energy? All I know is that there are people with some psychic abilities but I'd like to know this! I want to know if this really is possible. Can people have superhuman abilities? Thank you to all answerers!

Yes, there are people in life that know how. I'm a witch myself. I'm learning manythings. Now don't start by thinking about the movie witch's!!! I just honor nature. You can be a witch without doing magic and do magic without being a witch. But because of what I am I'm doing alot of research in the topic.
I have learned that people can fly!! And also move objects!! These are called gifts for the people that are born with them. Now, I'm only a 14 year old 8th grader, but I do know alot about this. I've interviewed people online that say they can do these things. My own friend can move objects! I find that totally awsome. But I believe that everyone is born with a special gift. If they can find that gift and unlock all of its ability, and practice alot, then I believe that they are possible of doing many things.
I can sometimes read people thoughts, and get visions of what's to come. I know that alot of you people might not believe me. I've also been a skeptic once too! I didn't believe any of it one bit!!!! That is untill I met my friend.
She said that she has this abitily to move objects. It's so very true!! But now that I have hope, I've learned and studied many things!
So, now that I have visions and can also read the thoughts of certain people (it's easyer if you know them a little), and even get vibes, I belive alot!!

Psychic powers are not real. They are at best coincidence, random chance, or simply a case when someone subconsciously observed something, and then decided that it must have had a psychic cause or root. For years, the magician James Randi has had a standing offer of $1 million, waiting for anyone to prove under laboratory conditions that they have magic or psychic abilities. Many have tried to prove it, but nobody has claimed it. And he was a professional stage magician for years, so he knows the tricks of how to make something look like magic. He has embarrassed many con artists. Edit: The comment that we only use a portion of our brain is also wrong. MRI scans show that we do use all of our brain. There is no 90% unused capacity like some believe - that's an old wive's tale.

Psychokinesis and telepathy have had some convincing results in scientific testing methods (in particular, telepathy) but nothing conclusive. If it was conclusive, I would still assume many scientists would be unwilling to accept it as a real ability.

Maybe. I always considered the late Paul Anderson to have been superhuman. How many people have you heard of who could benchpress your garage?

Of course there are. Evolution is slowly taking place, and we have no idea wat the next link in the evolutionary chain is going to be. But there are definitely some people out there who can do amazing things like telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, electrokinesis, precognition, claircognizance, super senses, etc.!
