I have been losing GB on the C: drive for a while. I know for a fact our programs and such on the computer does not equal the 22 GB out of the 30 used. We have done alot of system restores and I have no idea how to regain the loss of space. Somebody said Perhaps I should delete partitions and reformat windows? I don't remember exactly. I am tryina to regain space on the C drive.

Your HDD may be reformat edusing any other format that may not recognize by windows. Use software such as Acronis Partition, or Norton Magic Partition to recover.

You are risking your data. Take atleast two back ups on the secondry drive or onto a CD. You can reduce partitions to increase space for each partition. But when you do that, you
loose all data and installed programs. If you have original CDs of the programs like Office , you may delete a partition and allocate the space thus save to the remaining partition.
Then you will have to format it and install windows on it and then reinstall all the programs that were running on your computer. The most tedious part of it is installing drivers for
your sound card, modem card etc.

Let me know if you have a problem.

Reformatting IMHO should be a last resort, since it would erase everything on the harddrive. See my answer on your previous question for more info, but basically how to do a full system restore/system recovery can vary from system to system. (And frankly unless someone bought Partition Magic or something I doubt you've had any chances to mess up the partitions.)
