Being a Black Metal fan, I can take them or leave them, but I think they are less catchy since Jack Owen left after The Wretched Spawn. I'm quite aware that they are under the 'Brutal' category, but some songs do tend to run into one another. They are a very complex band to listen too. The lyrics dont bother me, and i'm a female. I can actually find a lot of humour in them, but I think Corpsegrinder tends to act too macho man, related to his thick neck methinks? 'Easy-listening' Cannibal Corpse songs like Festering In The Crypt suit my taste better.

A cannibal is someone who eats other people. I think it might apply to animals too, but I'm not sure (like a dog eating another dog, a cat eating eating another cat).
