I like Jean Seberg, she died of a drug overdose. I also like Bette Davis who died of mesastisized breast cancer in France.

T. E. Lawrence -- Lawrence of Arabia
He was a big celebrity in the 1920's and 1930's, hounded by the press, as the result of the publicity from Lowell Thomas' traveling slide show and lecture about him and his exploits in the Middle East during World War I. The public was hungry for a romantic hero in what seemed to be a distant, exotic part of the world after the horrors of trench warfare in Europe, the Spanish influenza epidemic after the war, and the uncertainties of the changing world. It's also said Lawrence was good at "backing into the limelight," that is, creating his own publicity while apparently running from it.
Things he said and wrote still apply to the Middle East today, and things he helped do still influence the situation there today.
He died of his injuries six days after an accidental motorcycle crash, May 19, 1935. And wouldn't you know, there are conspiracy theories about the "actual" cause of his death.
