The decision to drop the bomb was extremely difficult and was hotly debated. History has not agreed as to whether it was "right" or "wrong." The reference below gives some of the major arguments.
One not often mentioned is that if the US had blockaded Japan and invaded in the Spring of 1946, deaths over the winter by starvation alone (with the victims mostly women and children) could have exceeded one million.

I don't have a source, but dropping an atomic bomb is just plain immoral. It causes so much destruction, and it's wrong to kill so many people who are innocent.

I tend to be "pro-Hiroshima" on humanitarian and military grounds, but I recognize that using the bomb brought warfare to an unacceptable level and that level is still with us.

um, it destroyed the land, made it radio active couldnt farm it,
it gave people cancer(radio activity)
