my dad hates me cos he thinks i dont respect him

like everyone said...your dad DOES NOT hate you
the whole respect thing is definately a parent thing, try and show him that you do respect him (be angel-like i.e don't argue with him and things like that) and help around the house a bit that should help
maybe he thinks ou don't respect him because you give attitude..or something like that but its not as though anyone else doesn't doesn't
don't over react and no matter what your dad does, says or acts he's never gonna hate you so don't forget that
parents only hate the things their kids do but in general they're forgiving and will always <3 you

first of all your dad does not hate you if he did he wouldnt give a rats butt if you respected him or not.. second you probably dont respect him most kids now days dont know what respect is.. srry but true that went out the window when we could no longer spank our kids... all i can say is love your dad and show him respect no matter what.... he deserves that.....

I'm pretty sure he does not hate you but you do need to learn to respect your parents. It'll do you a lot of good in the long run.

Your Dad would not hate you I hope!!!... he may act grrrr (cranky) but no parent hates their kids unless they have a problem with themselves.. a drunk.. drug or mental etc...... *sigh* I'm sorry you are hurting!! (((hugzzzz)))
but RESPECT IS earned anyway ..not demanded.....so .................
But you must know if you have been disrespectful to him or NOT ..... if you have not been disrespectful... you must explain to your Dad that you do respect him & find out what he means exactly without argueing xoxoxo

just tell your dad that you do respect him in everyway possible but your unsure how to actually voice your respect.... perhaps tell him that your sorry that he feels this way...and just by saying that your showing him respect already
