Repairs could be a couple hundred dollars, or more. Depends on what's wrong. Sometimes it just needs more fluid, or minor repairs.
If you have to replace it, that gets expensive.
Probably $1500 to $2500 dollars. On the higher end if it's a 4X4.
Try to find a reputable place to go so you don't get ripped off, ask around friends and co-workers. Good luck.

Its as much as you as there are a mass of relaxing computerized sort autos obtainable besides as handbook, the complication is human beings see the call computerized and yet have had no or little adventure with them and don't appriciate the undeniable fact that automatics are available a mass of varieties which could be a techniques from putting a motor vehicle in d and then going. many times motor vehicle makers discover an computerized sort container greater suitable suits there vehicles and we stumble on vehicles like the Buggati Veryron and the Ferrari Enzo and so on with an computerized sort setup and this even is going right down to greater cost-effective fashions of vehicles. So incredibly the respond is what suits your desires and suits that automobile greater suitable as purely because of the fact it is provided in a handbook style would not make it greater suitable.

It is a Ford Ranger so there is no magic on these and if it costs more than 1800 to overhaul shop elsewhere. You could get a slavage yard one for a lot less and do it yourself in the Auto-Hobby Shop???????? or pay these guys to put in the "used" one.
What did they say was wrong with it???

between $2000-$5000 depending on where you get it done and who does it...(higher end, Mazda and they will back the work...) since we don't know where you are, it's hard to estimate.
