Thanks for answers so far, as ugly as they sound, they ARE stereotypes. Thumbs down are probably those who hate the stereotypes.

I think the stereotypes of old about Seniors is dissovling very quickly .... Today's elderly are NOT what was old when I was a kid, although many older people were dressed to the nines, today's seniors are hard to tell from yesterday's 40's....so all the meds, the acvances in medicine, working out, etc., has extended youth considerably. STrange, but it is my generation that will have the longest lifespan, and then is will begin to shorten again, according to all scientific studies so far....I may no longer be a kid, but I sure ain't old either, and I am 66, can probably run circles around most 30 years younger, and there in is the problem...today's youth are, as a rule, obese for their height, inactive, diabetes type II is epidemic...because of life style...therefore , my generation will have the longest life span known to man. I do not see a reversal fo this behavior in my area...most of the kids I see are seriously overwieght, under-exercised, and ....well, all rapped up with celebrity and not with what will give them a future..sad state of affairs. Goldwing ( and hellok Wickwire, sorry you had to change your avatar. Phil

I'm glad you asked for stereotypes. I'd hate to think all the above answers were to what is hated about senior citizens. I'll admit to some of what's been mentioned but, after all, we've had a long time to perfect these routines and what's the alternative anyway?

Slow driving, costing the younger generation money, taking up their time. To slow crossing the street. Paying clerks with change backing up the lines. Good to see you Wick.

.The idea we all play bingo....we all have dentures....and we all where diapers...give me a break and I think skate boarders are great ..just can't tolerate people that have a fit about when and where they skate all the time....I'm all the time asking these people if they ever remember being young.
And no not all seniors drive bad just the little old ladies that can't see over the steering wheel......

According to "Larry the Cable Guy" they are more likely to suffer from the "walking farts" then the younger folks. Apparently his Grandmother suffers from this ailment.
