Oh yeah, this is a good one! I was at a restaurant in Machesney Park, Illinois called Happy Wok & just after my wife and I sat down to eat something caught my eye. Mice were all over the floor!!!! In disgust, I talked to the owner and he said...."I have traps, what else do you want me to do"

Next day, I called the Health Department!!!!!

My worst restaurant experience was several years ago at a Red Lobster in Waco, Texas. There were four of us eating there and waiter got something on every single order wrong, and totally forgot to bring my food. He disappeared after bringing out the three other servings so we couldn't tell him what was wrong or that he forgot my lunch. After 20 minutes, we finally were able to catch another waiter and tell him to send our waiter out. It took another 20 minutes to get my food, and it was wrong, too. And stone cold. But, the waiter had disappeared again so we waited another 25 minutes and gave up and went up to the register.

The cashier asked if everything was all right. HA HA HA HA We told him exactly what was wrong and he got the manager. They didn't charge us for the food, and if they'd have tried, we'd have put up a fuss, since most of it wasn't edible anyway.

We left there and went to another restaurant and had a nice lunch.

I was at a restaurant on the north shore of Lake Superior, in Minnesota. Everything seemed normal, except for the velvet painting on the wall above my head. It was Elvis and it seemed to have stigmata. I perused the menu and chose a porterhouse steak, rare. My secretary ordered the strip, medium well. The food arrived in a timely fashion, but my porterhouse was as tough as shoe leather. I think it had a Florsheim brand. I sent it back. By the time my second attempt arrived everyone at my table had finished eating and returned to their rooms. Gwen had lost the mood!

I was in a Sonoma Valley restaurant in Heraldsburg, CA, with a menu of "small plates". Ordered the scallops for $16. there were three of them. Nothing else on the plate. After "dinner" and spending $50 we were still hungry.

i was in a restaurant that has since gone out of business. i was sitting in a booth with my mom, and a roach crawled up the window at our booth. then he jumped down onto the table and tried to make his way to the food.

we were gone. when i jumped up and got loud, the waitress wanted to know if there was a problem. you betcha, i told her and then as we left i told her to give the bill to the thing crawling across the table.

yuck.
