My dad worked with a traveling circus for 3 years every summer between the ages of 14 to 17. He got drafted when he turned 18. He was basically a clown. He can walk on his hands and taught my sister and I how to juggle at a pretty young age. I don't know what they pay, but I do know their games rip you off. Why wouldn't they just try and rip off the local help.

No, haven't worked at one but knew a guy that did and he showed me the tricks to some of the rip off games they do. They are quite easy with practice. I Always win a big prize at fairs

I worked at an amusement park when I was 16. Most fun I ever had. We got paid $5.50 an hr. Minimum wage back then (1995) was $4.50. I usually stole an extra $40 - $50 a day from the till, though.

I was the Tattooed woman. It all depends on the fair, or circus as far as the pay goes. =)

I volunteered at fairs and such....so the pay sucked since there was none and I really didn't feel that much better about myself after it....
I could have stayed home and studied and felt just the same! lol
