Starbucks Coffee gift cards. Believe me when I tell you that every teacher loves them. It doesn't matter if it is for one cup or ten, they will love it either way. God Bless, Happy Holidays and have a wonderful New Year.

I wanted to bake cookies for my kids' pre-k teachers but now it's looking like I'm not going to have time. I got some holiday plastic containers (originally for the cookies, ha ha!). I am going to put candy in each one and I am going to give one to each teacher along with a family picture Christmas card. On the back of the photo I will write a note thanking the teacher for her work with my kids this year.

The gift card is cool, maybe to a coffee shop or something. But stay away from ornaments & coffee cups because teachers typically get a million of those. Don't get anything for their kids unless you are friends with them outside of them teaching your child.

My oldest daughter is a substitute teacher who is always at her children's school so she gets presence every year. She said her favorite is a box of popcorn and a $5 gift card to Blockbuster. That is something that her whole family enjoys.

You could donate a book to the library in their name. Find out what books the preschool wants to buy.
Get your child to make the wrapping paper with their artwork that will add a special touch or in the card add a quote from your child on how they appreciate their teacher. It will touch them.
You could buy sparkle glue for the classroom in different colors
Get them an ornament but not the teacher apple thing.

I bought gifts for three sixth grade teachers. In Target they sell little gift sets. I bought them one with three stuffed animals (a panda, snowman, and reign deer). They sat atop a metal tin (decorated all Christmas-sy) with mints, chocolates, etc. I think those teachers would like them!

You could search on the interent for a real nice teacher poem..print that out and put it in a frame..or if you don't have a frame you could roll it up like a scroll and tie a ribbon around it...Works Great!!!
