Fantasy production, overall play, etc.. every single category goes to Kobe in this case. He's the best player in the league, if you ask me. LeBron is good, but if I had a draft choice and I could take one player in the league to build my team around, you'd see Kobe Bryant wearing my jersey.
As far as Darko versus Kurt Thomas, I say Kurt Thomas. Darko hasn't developed yet or reached his potential. Next season may be a completely different story though.

even tho kobe makes a lot of points doesnt mean he's good.
Lebron doesn't show off like Kobe.
Lebron always Passes it to his teammates instead
of KOBE shooting it.
Like in that Warriors game, Kobe missed ALOT of shots.
