Don't know about the hairspray but I do know about acetone.

In a diluted solution such as oiless finger polish remover you may be able to remove the stain.

You stand a better chance of removing it with full strength acetone. However, acetone is very very dangerous and can ignite easily. Take the article outside and do not smoke while performing this task. Do not use acetone anywhere indoors where any spark from a furnace, stove, cigarette lighter, cel phone or anything can ignite the vapors. Rest assured you wil get a real bang out of it if you are not careful. You may also try methylethylketone. But it is just as dangerous to use so be careful. Good luck!

Actually it's the alcohol in the hairspray that takes out ink so why not just try rubbing alcohol.:)

Try baby wipes. I have gotten ink out of clothes with them. You may have to use 2 or 3.

Any kind, but I like the pump better! Also always use a white cloth to blot with. Blot don't rub!
