My ex boyfriend says that he makes 8 grand a week collecting signatures to put on a ballot. I told him I am getting married, and I think he is using this to try to get me back. How can petitioners make 8 grand.

what do you care what he makes unless he needs to be taken to court for child support. obviously he's got you thinking about him and how much he makes. of course it's probably not true, why would you even listen. you are still engaged with him - it takes two to tango. you need to let go of worrying about his salary. why are you talking to him anyway? unless there's kids, why are you listening to things about his career. this will tear your new situation apart if you don't let go of the ex.
