Mike & Troy: i'm talking this young generarion they know ONLY BASIC of computers, but DO THEY NEED to know MORE than THAT?

It already seems to be going that way. I think the only ones who can really change it are the ones designing the hardware and software; no computer of today, no matter how simple compared to others, is simple enough, or easy enough to understand, that someone who's never used a computer before can pick one up and know how to use it within a minute. It's a little like cars; most people can drive one, but ask them to do their own repairs and chances are they'll look like they've seen a ghost.

I do not think so by 2012... that is awful soon really. I'd say there will come a day when the older people are, but that will end in a few short years, because all young generations now are well versed... so a "resistance" would be short lived really, in terms of not being able to "use" them. Eventually everything will be basically a computer.
