If your company pays for your MBA, do you have to get it in town or can you move away for a couple of years?

It depends on the company. I had classmates in the full time MBA program at Duke that spent two years away from their jobs -- but had the degree paid for by their companies.

On the other hand, I have worked for companies that do not pay for either.

Talk to the Human Resources department at your company.

Why would we know? I'm sure that would be up to the company you work for. You actually have a degree?
