I want to ditch my glasses but I can't stand contacts. Ocular Nutrition is supposed to help, but I don't want to take vitamin pills without quotes. Help!

Those vitamins are intended to help slow the progression of age related macular degeneration, they will not affect the need for glasses.

beta-carotene, lutein, and bilberry root are all helpful herbs that can heal some fully, keep the eye problems from worsening in others, and do absolutely nothing for the final group. I'd highly suggest trying those though, as you have nothing to lose except a little money and your glasses.
there's also a Taoist technique for strengthening the eyes, but I was not able to find a direct link to it. http://www.universal-tao.com/ might give you something if you search long enough though. i first learned about it from a book by Stephen Chang about internal exercises, if you have the money to drop at amazon.com or something.
i still have my glasses, but the supplements i've mentioned above kept my vision from getting worse and fully healed one of my friends, and I didn't learn about the eye exercises until way after 14, so you stand a really good chance of losing your glasses (and if you dont, i promise it's not the end of the world; people assume you're smart lol).
good luck :)
