Recently the sound on my laptop started becoming scratchy like a skipping cd, anyone know how to fix it?

Mine did the same thing. Why, you may ask? LOL! Because I put a dirty cd in it to burn...lol Get yourself a cd-rom cleaner. Make sure it specifies cd-rom/dvd rom. Regular cd player cleaners are NOT recommended. This will fix the garbling noises ;) good luck to ya!

I think you are saying--when it plays sound it sounds like it skips... Sound is a strange thing, and once it starts, it is a pain. Did you drop it? Is it just on a certain thing, or no matter what it skipps. Be a little bit more specific.
