I mean buff and shine, or go over a couple of times? Are there other things that you clean that you don't clean on a regular basis like crystal or your cuio cabinet and chandeliers, and you make it shine during the holidays?

I totally EXTRA clean for the holidays. Aside from doing the usual stuff, I clean the corners and frame of the sliding doors, I clean the wood panels in our family room, under the couch cushions, the insides of the windows...extra extra clean the bathrooms....I just think that if someone is sitting in a chair, and the sun hits a certain way, they might happen to spot dog hair, or crumbs. Yuck. I imagine it wouldn't be too appetizing to eat food when the home it's cooked in isn't spotless.

I try to get "out w/the old".. cause new (more stuff) is coming
so as i de-clutter, i end up cleaning areas that i usually neglect (my sons closet cabinets..woow ..messy).
But no, It makes sense to pay attn to chandeliers & All
the dust but can't find time to break out the ladder & windex this time of year.

yes yes yes. you clean everything, right down to the polishing your silverwear and dusting you fans. Your family normally comes over that day, who wants to go into a dirty house? Besides, it is a good way to start off the new year. ")

yes I do clean extra, I am lucky and have Merry Maids weekly, but I do stuff too, like clean the chandliers,clean all the wine glasses,anything I can think of

i wouldn't keep it EXTRA CLEAN but just clean enough so you can move around.
