She only gets a SSI check and seems she has waited to late to seek help buying anything for Christmas

Contact the Salvation Army. The do packages for families that need them during this time of year.

Unless you go to a local church or charity, maybe like Goodwill, Salvation Army, or something like that then probably.

I wish I knew something else but Christmas on people who only get SSI is hard.

I believe so, I'm so sorry, usually all requests more than likely need to be in by Thanksgiving.

Usually the fire dept. knows where help is for toys for the children. Stop by and ask them.

No, its not too late. Even delayed, the thought of it really will be appreciated than not to make an attempt at all
