Oh I positively LOVE that movie!!!! Just ONE favorite part? Ok-let me think... I guess when Ralphie was fabricating his big red hot LIE as to how his glasses got broken. LOL Oh but then again, the Father's enthusiasm (which was unmatched by his wife's!) over the arrival and display of that Leg Lamp --that was hilarious... The scene with the younger brother bundled so tightly in his "volumous" snow suit and scarf that he could not move a digit...and was like a TICK, ready to explode...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! so MANY good parts to that movie...his father's undecipherable yet more than indicative cursing in the basement--audible throughout the house's ventilation system...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a true classic film which shall forever stand the test of time and, the very time in which this film is set makes me VERY sentimental because this is what it was like when I was a child. Technology has boomed in a full blast explosion but seeing a film like this makes me miss the simpler days when a child was at ease and encouraged to just be a KID...and play outdoors...and his limitless imagination was the only tool he needed to entertain himself.

It has to be Daughtry's new song, over you. It looks as if there is a couple, and the woman won't stop partying, and getting drunk, and acting wild until it is too late, and the guy loses it. I don't know whether he died in the accident, but he did get over her, and left her in the end, by trying to run from her problems in the video, and then isolating from her problems, but in the end it showed the girl in a self help group and that has been the best story, video song I have seen in a long time.

I like a Scottish song called The Queen of Argyle. I've always thought the chorus was really poetic:
"All the roses in the garden / They bowed and ask her pardon /For not one could match the beauty of the Queen of all Argyle"
