Kobe Bryant wants a championchip,he knows the lakers he has right now are not good enough to contend for one,even though they record is 13-9 it is not close to contend for a championchip,lakers will maybe get past the first round of the playoffs and then get swept from there on.what players are they looking to trade and what players are they trying to get to be a championchip contender?and we need to fire kupcake,worst gm who ever lived,why arent the lakers firing that fruit cake,kupcake?

Maybe they just need their current players to score more. The Lakers haven't been getting enough production from guys like odom, who could very well average 20 points a game, if he is aggressive enough; also Bynum gets like 10 points and 10 rebounds in limited minutes, if Phil gives him more playing time, I beleive he could contribute more.

You have to give some credit to Kupchak, he's made pretty good draft picks (Bynum, Farmar). He got back Fisher who takes the place of Smush and adds leadership.

But we would be pretty good right now if we kept Butler..
Lineup w/ Butler:
C: Bynum
Pf: Odom
Sf: Butler
Sg: Kobe
Pg: Fisher
On the bench we would have enough bigs. Turiaf, Mihm, etc.
But to answer your question, the Lakers probably won't make a move.

They could bring back Magic. It is widely said the he scored more than anybody in NBA history. Or perhaps Wilt.
