I gotta say Paddington Bear. He had a hard life for a cartoon. His parents were killed in an earthquake in Peru, he had to stow away on a ship with only 5 jars of marmalade to sustain him so he could have a better life in the UK! Garfield's bear Pooky is a close second, he's just so cute.

Boo-Boo, Bear! Yogi Bear! most of all Smokey Bear! lets not forget the Christmas Bear, or the Coca- Cola Bear, or the Black Bear! Oh yea! Mama Bear, Because, she protects her Cubs.

Winnie the Pooh!
However, I should point out that Smokey the Bear was a real, live bear. He was rescued from a forest fire as a cub and presented to the Preisdent of the United States.
Winnie the Pooh has taught us many important lessons but Smokey actually lived and died.
