1. In meiosis 1 the chromosomes are composed of two chromatids held together by a centromere. In meiosis 2 the cells contain "single chromosomes"(formally chromatids).

2.The result of a nondisjunction of autosomes or sex chromosomes during gametogenesis and the subsequent
fertilization involving these aberrant gametes.

3.
The egg is larger than the sperm only because of its stored food. The nuclei of both gametes are about the same size,and fertilization involves the uniting of the nuclei.
