per year before they will register a litter by you? of course haveing 10 or more litters a year is a bit much for one person unless multiple people care for the dogs at different locations but only pne person owns them.
Would you even buy from someone who have that many litters?
I'm not sure I would depends really.

As far as I knew, the AKC COULD inspect you at any time anyway.
I would never buy from any breeder that had 10 litter yearly. Even 5 is too many in most situations.

I would never in a hundred years buy from someone with that many litters. I would from someone with one or two, but not more than that. That is what you call a puppy mill....

I personally think people should have to have licenses to breed. There are way too many animals, homeless to boot, as it is.

From reading my daughter's papers on her Corgi, it seemed like only 2 or 3 litters per animal, per lifetime were registerable anyway.

Seeing Mia's posting I agree that people should be licensed before they are allowed to breed however on re-reading I note that she was refering to animals.
