Think about all the common factors for each term....
In the first one, you can pull an x and 2 from everything

4x^2-6x
(2x)(2x-3)

If you need to check, then multiply it out. 2x*2x=4x^2 and 2x*-3= -6x

(x+5)(x-5)

x*x=x^2
x*-5=-5x and x*5=5x ----->those two cancel
5*-5=-25
X^2-25

Not sure about the first one but the second one this is what I get:

1) x (squared) - 25
2) take the first part of the equation, x(squared). That would look like this: (x)(x)
3) Now the second part of the equation, the negative 25. It would look like this: (x+5)
(x-5) because positive 5 times negative 5 gives you negative 25.

Hope this helps somewhat.

(1) 4x^2-6x
Take out " 2x " as common to both the terms and you get the answer.

=> 2x ( 2x - 3 ) ................. Answer

(2) x^2-25
=> (x)^2 - (5)^2
Now use the formula ......... a^2 - b^2 = (a + b) ( a - b )
=> (x + 5) (x - 5) ................... Answer
