I know average temps for Jan & Feb in Vegas. Day temps don't bother me. What I really want to know is if it gets bone chilling cold at night when one is walking around the strip and from bar to bar. Thanks

Thank you all for your answers, every one was great and provided needed info. I too am cold below 70 degress and the wind factor is good to know because wind makes cold colder. I don't own a winter coat so it looks like the layered look and a jacket for me, not too elegant for evening but as I will not be trying to impress who cares. Thanks again to all who answered.

yes was in vegas in late january for a week this year and it does get pretty cold at night, when we were there it was between 35-40 fahrenheit or between 2-4 celsius after dark

Not bone chilling but a jacket is in order at night. The sun warms up the valley during the day and it really gets the coldest around 4 or 5 in the morning just before the sun comes back up.

for me if is not above 70 is chilling cold. . . so the temperate on Jan and Feb goes 30 or 40 day time. . . At night will be lower. . . but if you going bar to bar. . . and are drinking. . . the cold won't batter

It doesn't get that cold. Some nights in gets down in the 30s but most of the time it is in the 40s and 50s.
Go for it as it is a great time to be in Vegas.

It depends where you come from.... To me we are chilly. I live here in Vegas. Last Jan we didn't get above 43 in the day time. At nights around 20-25 but it can & does get colder at night. It gets very windy also.
